What it means
IRR015I means a new password was supplied and RACF did not accept it. The new value is either not valid or is the same as the old password.
The problem lies with the new password. The job ends with no steps run, so it must be resubmitted with an acceptable value.
Typical causes
- The new password is the same as the current password.
- The new password is not valid under the installation's password rules.
How to fix it
- Choose a new password that differs from the current one and follows the site rules.
- Ask your RACF security administrator, through the normal process, about the site's password rules and minimum change interval.
- Resubmit the job or sign on again only after the new value has been checked.
Example
Illustrative only; names and values are invented.
