What it means

IRR014I means the password was correct but has passed its expiry date. A batch job ends before any step runs.

The job needs both the old password and a new one.

Typical causes

  • The password reached the end of the site's password interval.
  • A job with a stored password was not updated in time.

How to fix it

  1. For a job, give both values on the JOB statement as PASSWORD=(old, new).
  2. At an interactive logon, supply the new password when asked.
  3. Update any saved copies of the password afterwards.
  4. If you are locked out, ask your help desk to reset it through the normal process.
