What it means
IRR012I means the user that the job or request is tied to is not defined in the RACF database. The security manager rejects the request.
What happens next depends on the application. It may stop, or try another way to sign in.
Typical causes
- The user ID on the job or request is mistyped.
- The user ID has not been defined to RACF yet.
- The work is running under a system or default ID that is not a RACF user.
How to fix it
- Check the spelling of the user ID on the JOB statement or request.
- Submit the job from a session that uses a RACF-defined user ID.
- If the ID should exist, ask the security team to create it through the normal request process.
